Come down to our Family Fun Day this Good Friday! The Good Friday Community Family Fun Day attracts local people and travellers who stop and spend an hour or two enjoying the activities on Good Friday every year. For the locals, it not only provides an activity for the whole family on a day when there are not many options for things to do or places to go, but it also provides a great focal point for all the community and helpers to meet, and join in community spirit. For the travellers it provides not only a rest break for those travelling long distances but an opportunity to stop and take a look at our town and meet members of our community. We also have many regular visitors who come back year after year to participate in our Good Friday Community Family Fun Day. Activities include music by Leigh Thomas, the famous REH Cork Club BBQ, Coffee Van, Dutch Pancakes, Donuts, Slushies, local Fire Brigade displays, Fishing game, Plaster Fun, Caricature Artist drawings by Tony Bramwell, Jumping Castles, LV Street Machiners Car display, Face Painting, Pot Luck game, Fairy Floss & Popcorn, and more. The Royal Exchange Hotel will also be donating $1 from every meal sold on the day to the Good Friday Appeal.
